NEW LOWER PRICE - REDUCED FROM $1,599.
The Sony EVO-9650 with Remote Controller RM-9650 videocassette recorder is a professional VCR employing the high picture quality Hi8 (high eight) video system and the high audio quality PCM digital recording system.
|
Single Frame Recording
|
The unit can automatically
record the picture frame by frame when controlled by a computer.
This function is useful when editing a picture created by a
computer for animation. Manual frame recording from a video
camera is also possible.
|
|
Computer Control
|
The unit can be directly
controlled by a computer using the Sony institutional RS-232C
protocol.
|
|
Use of the digital frame
memory as a buffer
|
When the frame memory select
button is set to the BUFFER mode, the picture coming in the unit
passes through the digital frame memory and then goes to the
recorder section. While supplying the picture stored in the
memory for recording, the computer can start drawing the next
picture immediately.
|
|
Use of the digital frame
memory as a noise reducer
|
When the frame memory select
button is set to the DNR (Digital Noise Reducer) mode, the
playback picture passes through the digital frame memory and is
then output from the unit. The YNR (Luminance Noise Reducer) and
CNR (Chrominance Noise Reducer) operate on the picture passing
through the memory to reproduce a jitter-free picture. In
addition, various effects can be added to the picture to display
as a “digital picture”.
|
|
Horizontal resolution of more
than 400 lines
|
The Hi8 recording system and the
use of high-quality metal tapes designed for Hi8 recording
remarkably enhance the picture quality.
|
|
Built-in 8mm time code
generator/reader
|
The time code indicates the
position of tape by hour, minute, second and frame. While
recording, the unit automatically records the institutional 8mm
time code together with the video and audio signals. The time
code can be inserted separately on a pre-recorded tape. In
addition to the institutional 8mm time code, the unit can read the
RC time code recorded with other consumer product VCRs.
